Cashon Stewart: Gone Too Soon

Cashon Stewart

Sunrise: September 7, 2006 – Sunset: May 17, 2026.

Cashon Anthony Stewart was born on September 7, 2006, in Seattle, Washington, to his loving parents, Ah’Lonna Prescott and Anthony Stewart. From the very beginning, Cashon brought light, laughter, and love to all who knew him.

Affectionately known as “Cash,” “Yodda Man,” and “Cash Money,” Cashon had a presence that could never be forgotten. With his beautiful smile and quiet confidence, he carried a spirit that naturally drew people to him. Enhanced by his sense of humor, he had a way of making people feel comfortable simply by being himself.

Cashon was a gifted athlete who excelled in football, basketball, boxing, and karate. His love for football began in Little League, where he played for the Rainier Eagles, Five Star, and the Seattle Junior Seahawks before continuing at Mill Creek Middle School and later at both Auburn Mountain View and Rainier Beach High School. Beyond football, he played basketball at Tukwila Community Center, trained in boxing with Bumblebee Boxing at Union Gospel Mission, and studied karate at Lee’s Martial Arts.

Cashon shined both on and off the field. His dedication, athleticism, and perseverance earned the respect of teammates, coaches, classmates, and everyone who had the privilege of watching him grow into the incredible young man he became.

Additionally, Cashon successfully completed a pre-apprenticeship program with Seattle’s Local IBEW 46 (IP2A), focused on the electrical industry, and was proudly on his way to pursuing a career in residential electrical work, bringing the same determination and strong work ethic that defined so many areas of his life.

Cashon was supportive, kind-hearted, and, as a child, often unaware of his own strength. As he grew into the remarkable young man he became, his mom lovingly referred to him as her “Gentle Giant,” a name that perfectly captured both his strong presence and incredibly tender heart.

Cash made an unforgettable impact on the lives of all who knew him, whether through his smile, his humor, or simply his quiet, steady presence.

Though his time on earth was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will live on in our hearts forever. Cash will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and lovingly remembered by all who were blessed to know and love him.

We love you Cash. Forever in our hearts.
