The selected Consultant will provide engineering services for the design of the South Treatment Plant hypo and caustic chemical storage system replacement, including project management, civil engineering; structural engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical and instrument & control engineering, surveying, geotechnical engineering, cost estimating, environmental engineering, and permitting and construction sequence schedule.SUBCONSULTANT OPPORTUNITIES: Provided for informational purposes only, following are subconsulting opportunities that may be available on this Contract: Instrumental and Control Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Surveying, Geotechnical Engineering, Geologist, Architect, Cost Estimating, Environmental Engineering, and Permitting.SCS UTILIZATION REQUIREMENTS: The Consultant shall ensure that at least 5% of the Contract Price for all Work, as amended, shall be performed by King County Certified SCS Firms over the life of the Contract. Evaluation points for meeting and/or exceeding the SCS utilization requirements will be provided to each proposer responding to this requirement.
