“I think college sports are, but I also feel like it kind of depends on what sport it is. I feel like the more contact the sport is, the more lenient they are.”

“I would say colleges are, but pro sports, I don’t think so. In college, you can’t play if you have a concussion, or you can’t even practice. And then there’s also academic standing and things like that. So, they take care of athletes, but I can’t say much about pro sports because even if you can’t practice with the team, you can practice by yourself, and that can make a difference.”

“I would want to know more first about what the college is providing to the athletes as of now. Of course, a small percentage of them are going to go to the pros, if any. They’re going to benefit a lot, but a substantial proportion of that population, probably 99%, don’t know what the health plan is like for the college. But I’ve heard a lot that they’re not receiving a lot in the amount of gains that they provide to the school through revenue, with ticket sales or whatever it is, probably merch. All of that stuff is a lot. So, you know, with my little bit of information, I think that it’s an exploitation, and they can provide more to the athletes.”

“I do think college teams and pro teams are doing enough to protect the long-term health of the athletes because I feel that they put a lot of time and money into recovery, lifting and stretching, and all of those prevention protocols to prevent injuries.”

“Yes, I do believe that college and pro teams are doing enough to protect their athletes’ health long term.”

“Yes, I do believe that college and pro teams are doing enough to support their athletes’ long-term health just because of all the money that these programs put into working out and recovery for the athletes. Of course, I feel that there is always more to do for the athletes, but as of right now, I think that they are doing enough.”
